Peace Through Superior Orgasm

I’ve looked at this article about three times this morning, laughed, and decided not to post on it. However, I guess I just can’t resist…

(WCBSTV) Two peace activists have planned a massive anti-war demonstration for the first day of winter.

But they don’t want you marching in the streets. They’d much rather you just stay home.

The Global Orgasm for Peace was conceived by Donna Sheehan, 76, and Paul Reffell, 55, whose immodest goal is for everyone in the world to have an orgasm Dec. 22 while focusing on world peace.

“The orgasm gives out an incredible feeling of peace during it and after it,” Reffell said Sunday. “Your mind is like a blank. It’s like a meditative state. And mass meditations have been shown to make a change.”

The couple are no strangers to sex and social activism. Sheehan, no relation to anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, brought together nearly 50 women in 2002 who stripped naked and spelled out the word “Peace.”

Personally, I don’t think we really need an excuse to “Get It On”, but what the heck… any excuse is a good one.

I suppose they will be measuring the success of the “Global O” by how many babies are born in September of ‘07? Before you get silly, remember to wrap your Willie!

I honestly don’t think that my endorphin levels are doing to make any kind of difference to the situation in the world. But, I’m not jaded enough not to have sex just because the beatniks are having an Orgasmic “sit in”.

I guess the question is, if your going to have an orgasm while thinking of world peace… what exactly do you think about? What defines world peace to you?

Frankly, if I have to think about rainbows, unicorns, and magical peace spreading mythical creatures, I am not going to have any success in my quest for the “Global O”.

Any ideas on what you could think about to embody world peace, and manage to participate?

      Screw that! I am proposing “Orgasm for Victory Day”. On December 22nd share your orgasm with a member of the US Military. These people are focused on Fleet buildup in the Gulf, so be especially “Sweet to the Fleet”!
