Are these people TRYING to aid the terrorists and insurgents? I cannot fathom WHY in god’s name they feel the need to publish information that was never meant for public knowledge. We as a nation did not need to know the information that is contained in the memo that was leaked.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 — A classified memorandum by President Bush’s national security adviser expressed serious doubts about whether Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki had the capacity to control the sectarian violence in Iraq and recommended that the United States take new steps to strengthen the Iraqi leader’s position.

Every time I hear of shit like this it makes me more certain that there are people out there with clearances that really need to have them revoked. Why in the hell was someone with this information even talking to a damn reporter from the NY Slimes anyway? And beyond that knowing the track record of the slimes, why give them access to a document that was classified Secret?

Stuff like this makes my blood boil. I think both the reporter and the administration official that leaked the information should be brought up on charges. Treason preferably, but barring that, there’s gotta be SOME violation here that they can be charged with.

If I had my way the Slimes would be shut down permanently, as a subversive organization, and the editors and reporters locked up with the keys thrown away. They’re a threat to our national security and should be treated as such.
