Weblog Awards 2006

I’m not big into these popularity contests for blogs. I find it juvenile and high-schoolish. I don’t write on this blog because I think someone ought to vote me “Best Weblog”.

I however live with the ideal that this is the best damn weblog from Alabama with a dark theme, about conservative politics, written by a guy who’s initials are ELF.

Some people are really into this weblog awards thing, and I won’t begrudge them that… until they send me email about it.

So there is this really obnoxious guy, who tends to abuse his email list… a lot. Sends out tons of emails about posts on his blogs, and how you might want to share this with your readers. Frankly, this used tampon sends out so much crap, that I have him on auto-delete.

But tonight, for whatever reason I run across his email in my deleted items folder…

I need your help if I’m gonna get anywhere close to winning the Weblog Awards this year! I’m getting kicked around by some liberal feminste blog! Help!!!!

So as a public answer to this self-centered imbecile, let me remind you, cocksucker, that you aren’t the only asshole in the running for these awards. Frankly, there are people who I would vote for, because they don’t suck, however I wouldn’t vote for you because you do suck, and NOT in a good way.

So because this buffoon has totally pissed me off, I’m now going to encourage everyone I know to vote for Beth over at Blue Star Chronicles, because I think she is totally deserving, unlike that asshole.

Also, just as importantly… Vote for My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy!!!

I’d consider trying to get into the Cotillion, but it’s not worth getting rid of my outdoor plumbing…
