Premature Victory Dance

December 28, 2006 | By Sniper One |

To many people are already doing the Ethiopian Victory Dance today. If we’ve learned anything from the war in Iraq, it should of been to invade is easy, to stabilize, not so much.

‘We are not here to reconstruct Somalia,’ Zenawi said. ‘We will help stabilize Mogadishu. We will not let Mogadishu burn.’

Good luck with that… but I fear that the Jihadi’s are now fighting on ground of their own choosing. Just like in Iraq, the Jihadi’s know they can’t win in a stand up fight. However in a prolonged guerilla war, they can be successful.

When I start hearing the fat lady sing, then I might pop the cork on that victory dance.
