24 & Guard The Borders

Up until Sunday, I was not a 24 watcher. I haven’t watched any of the seasons before this one, and I don’t know if I am going to finish watching this one. However there is a good chance that I will.

For those of you who haven’t been watching TV, and this is the first blog you’ve hit today… in last night’s episode the terrorists set off a nuclear bomb on American soil.

Kind of frightening, don’t you think?

In all reality, the idea should be terrifying.

As Americans, we have a serious issue, that issue is a failure to protect our country from illegal immigrants and evil-doers that may be crossing the border illegally from both Canada and Mexico. The situation on the border is so bad, that we have National Guard troops retreating from armed Mexicans.

It’s to the point where I doubt we could stop a Mexican in a wheelchair, pulling 400 kilos of weed in a red wagon behind him, from crossing the border.

Of course the Mexican authorities are telling us that they are stopping all of the Arabs from crossing the borders. After all, the Mexicans know that as soon as something like Oklahoma City happens in America, and it’s linked to someone crossing the border from Canada or Mexico, that America will have real border enforcement. After a few thousand people die, we might finally get around to doing what we should have been doing all along.

Of course, the Mexican government doesn’t want that. They are doing too well under the work relocation plan they have now. Send Mexicans to the US to work, so they will send American Dollars home to Mexico to bring more Mexicans over to America. Why have a welfare program, when you can just export the problem to America.

However, what if it becomes harder to spot a non-Hispanic person crossing the border. Sometimes it’s easy, they don’t speak Spanish or dress in Hispanic normal clothing. What if they has somewhere to train to act like Hispanics… somewhere like Venezuela. Venezuela, who is Iran friendly, and has a Hezbollah presence within her borders.

Next thing you know, you’ll have a guy who looks Hispanic, acts Hispanic, but secretly has a prayer rug and practices Jihad.

I guess President Bush is right that Mexicans are doing jobs that Americans won’t do. Jobs like Guarding our borders.

What happened to “… against all enemies, foreign and domestic”?
Every person who has ever served in the military, every peace officer,
every Sworn Agent of the governments, State and Federal, and every politician,
including the Pres. has sworn to this. Have the Obscurocrats taken this Oath also?
All of these millions of capable people, and the Constitution, our Rule of Law,
and our land lay undefended. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I took the Oath, it didn’t have an expiration date. It wasn’t over on my discharge date.
Or when I took it again, when I reenlisted after getting out. It’s been almost 22 years since I raised my right hand, and I still hold true to it.
