"The Defeat Agreement"

February 5, 2007 | By Sniper One |

I’m not exactly sure what “The Defeat Agreement” is specifically, other than the obvious meaning. Global Security believes that the Islamic State of Iraq could be another name for Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

The Emir of the Islamic State of Iraq posted a recorded message threatening to spread violence all across Iraq unless President Bush signs “The Defeat Agreement.” He said the surge in troops gives the Muslim fighters the opportunity to “slaughter the demon wounded crusader, take advantage of the collapse of his soldiers’ morale and strengthen the foundations of ‘The State of Islam.’”

Beyond the normal “Eat Pork and Die!” response that I feel all Americans should give these clowns on a regular basis. One must ponder how much these demands sound like the ones being made by the Congress, and many of the persons running for President.

I suppose it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, considering that a Muslim Cleric who has openly supported Hezbollah at Rallys in Dearborn, opened this weekends DNC meeting with the following:

We thank you god, to bless us among your creations. We thank you, god, to make us a great nation. We thank you, god toss send us your messages through our father Abraham, and Jesus and Mohammed, through you, god, we unite, so guide us to the right spot we wish for peace, equality and help us to stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation.

From Jihad Watch:

In mentioning “Abraham and Moses and Jesus and Mohammed” I expect that he sounded wonderfully generous and ecumenical to the assembled Democrats. But in fact, he was almost certainly invoking them in their capacity as Muslim prophets: it is mainstream Islam that all of these were prophets who taught Islam, and that the followers of Moses and Jesus corrupted their teachings to create Judaism and Christianity. The Qur’an says that Abraham was not a Jew or a Christian, but a Muslim (3:67), and depicts Jesus denying his own divinity (5:116) — and this, of course, is the Imam’s frame of reference. So what seems to be a gesture of ecumenical generosity is actually a declaration of religious imperialism and the delegitimization of other religions.

Not the the Democrats would ever court support from the enemies of freedom or anything like that. They would never let someone with terrorist ties represent them in Congress. Nor would a Democrat ever stoop to working with enemy intelligence agencies in order to try to win an election.

In any case, I’ll keep an ear to my RSS feeds and see what pops up about “The Defeat Agreement”.
