Why is it whenever we start talking about immigration, everyone suddenly thinks that if your for little things like National Security, and for not rewarding bad behavior, that you hate latinos?

(TownHall) Some people just don’t like Mexicans — or anyone else from south of the border. They think Latinos are freeloaders and welfare cheats who are too lazy to learn English. They think Latinos have too many babies, and that Latino kids will dumb down our schools. They think Latinos are dirty, diseased, indolent and more prone to criminal behavior. They think Latinos are just too different from us ever to become real Americans.

Stripped bare, this is what the current debate on immigration reform is all about. Fear of “the other” — of those who look or sound different, who come from poor countries with unfamiliar customs — has been at the heart of every immigration debate this country has ever had, from the infamous Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 to the floor of the U.S. Senate this week.

It has nothing to do with not liking “brown people”. I like LEGAL brown people just fine. However, if you have broken the law to come into this country to be a slave to the American big business machine, then you are a criminal. As a criminal you do not deserve to get citizenship.

And while we are on the the subject of using illegal immigrants as slaves, I am all for much stronger penatlies and enforcement. I think that companies that use illegal immigrants to keep their prices low should have their CEO’s drug out in the street and shot.

There are NO jobs that American’s won’t do. There may be jobs that American’s won’t do for the wage you are offering, and you may need to throw health insurance into the package as well, but Americans will do the jobs.

If you can’t find an American to do the job, that means that you are a cheap bastard who is unwilling to take care of your people. It’s captialism at it’s simpliest, supply and demand. You have a supply of work, and people demand better wages and health care.

You don’t have to deport hundred of thousands or even millions of illegals. You take the jobs and welfare away and they will deport themselves. You simply make it impossible for them to make a living in America and they will go somewhere else, not because they want to, but because they will not have a choice.

We need to know who is the the country. We need to do a background check on every person who is coming into this country to become a citizen.

We are a country at war. If we cannot control our own borders, and control who is in our country, we are as good as dead.

This is not a matter of being racist. It’s not a matter of disliking “brown people”. I don’t care what color you are. I don’t care where you are from. If you want to come to America and be a citizen (and who wouldn’t); get your ass in line with everyone else.

To say that this bill is only about “brown people” is to be a racist.
