Dream Act Fails Again…

October 24, 2007 | By Sniper One |

Thank God!!

Update 12:52pm Eastern. Breathe a small sigh of relief. Shamnesty is defeated again. The DREAM Act has been beat back. The vote was 52-44, falling short of the 3/5 threshhold.

thompson_main310 Now can we quit with the shAmnesty already?!?

(FRED) Given the widespread public uprising over the comprehensive immigration reform bill, you’d think the Senate had learned its lesson. Apparently not. Instead of focusing on legislation the American people clearly want nothing to do with, Senate Democrats are planning to bring the DREAM Act up for a vote today. Instead, they should focus on doing the work of the people, and pass the appropriations bills that have been awaiting their attention for months now.
