Against seemingly insurmountable odds we have seen a successful launch of Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed by Ben Stein in Movie Theaters around the country.

However another vitally important movie Indoctrinate U has been struggling to get a solid booking in Movie Theaters nationwide.

Indoctrinate U is a documentary film covering the assault on free speech and free thought on college campuses. You can view the trailer here.

There have been so many exciting developments lately!

* “INDOCTRINATE U” HAD ITS NEW YORK CITY DEBUT on Monday night, playing to a capacity crowd at the Director’s Guild of America theater in midtown Manhattan. (See below for some words from the director following the wildly successful NYC premiere.)

On his personal website, “Indoctrinate U” director Evan Coyne Maloney reflected on the NYC premiere:

We think Evan’s right! Even though the film has been highly praised by a number of major outlets, there are still tons of people out there who need to know about the frontal assault on freedom of thought taking place on campuses all over America.

We don’t have the budget or the industry backing that some larger documentarians do, and because we don’t have a distributor, all our marketing is done by a handful of people who have other full-time jobs.

But thanks to the technology now available to scrappy upstarts like us, Hollywood may be able to ignore “Indoctrinate U,” but they can no longer prevent a film like ours from reaching a vast audience.

Still, we could really use your help letting that potential audience know we exist!

If you believe that academia must embrace intellectual diversity, if you think that the terms of the debate on campus shouldn’t be dictated by ideological mob rule, ask yourself, “What would Paul Revere do?”

Bloggers, talk radio callers, and anyone with an e-mail address can help bring attention to the very real and shocking abuses of power in higher education.

How can you help?

Notify friends. Call talk shows. E-mail journalists and media contacts. Hire skywriters. Make crop circles out of our logo.

But if all you can do is forward this e-mail to a few friends, that’s still a big help.
