There are times I wonder about the sanity of people. This is definitely one of them.

Parents to sue maker of metal bats for sons brain injury
WAYNE, N.J. — A New Jersey couple, whose son was struck in the chest with a line drive, is planning to sue the maker of a metal baseball bat used in the game.

WTF people??? I feel bad that the kid was injured, but give me a break here. Suing the maker of the bat for a damned accident??? It never ceases to amaze me at the sheer audacity of people these days. All things considered, this is just an extension of the mentality of sue the gun makers for the actions of a dumbass or criminal. This definitely falls under the heading of unforeseeable tragedy. This would be pretty much the same as suing Ford/Chrysler/Honda/whoever for a loved one being injured in a car accident. And believe me, with the way things are headed in this world, that time is coming. It’s never anyone’s own fault anymore, have to blame someone else and sue them.

We have become a nation of limp wristed pansy ass whiners with no sense of personal responsibility. I find myself wondering these days what it’s going to take for people to wake the fuck up and start taking responsibility for their own damned lives, and stop blaming everyone else for the way their lives are turning out.

People like this aren’t worried about their child. They see the $$$$$$ signs in the window. The state should take the child from them and lock them up.
