McCain Finished
October 11, 2008 | By TonyfromOz |
TonyfromOz prefaces …..
I had to include this post just for the very insightful video. It’s just so funny.
It’s all but over:
BARACK Obama has opened up an 11-point lead over John McCain in the latest Gallup Poll - his biggest margin of the campaign. Senator Obama, whose support has shot up in several national polls since the economic meltdown started dominating the news, now tops Senator McCain 52 to 41 per cent.
When McCain looked as flat as the US economy that’s killed him, and sounded worse, even in this week’s interview with Sean Hannity, a ra-ra Republican backer from Fox News, he really is struggling. And getting Sarah Palin - his one bright advantage - to appear next to him during it just seemed desperate, like trying to put lipstick on a pig.

UPDATE 2
McCain finished? Perhaps not completely. Not yet:
Polling in the Presidential race is getting stranger. The latest Reuters/CSpan/Zogby poll has Obama up by only two points. Rasmussen shows the race tightening from eight points to six. At the same time, the Gallup Poll has Obama jumping out to an unprecedented eleven-point margin.
