Comment & Trackback Policy

Firstly, this blog encourages democracy, however it does not practice it. This is my blog, if you don’t like what I have to say, then feel free to tell me about it. We may or may not be able to come to common ground. I’ve had productive conversations with people who have called me an asshole and a racist in the past. We even found out we liked each other, even if we didn’t agree on everything.

For a good example of how to actually argue a point, and stay civil, check out the comments on this post. Please follow Mr. Terrenoire’s excellent example.

If you comment, keep it civil, and keep it to the issues. Throwing out absurd and stupid crap is my job. I might be doing it to get a reaction, I might be doing it because I believe in it. You’ll only know if you comment and ask.

Comments may be deleted with or without reason, depending on my mood. Deal with it. Using an obivious fake email address (asdf@asdf.ca or nonya@business.ca) will decrease the chance of your comment being published.

If your comment is HUGE, just get your own blog and trackback to mine. Blogger is good, Wordpress is better.

If you want to engage in random name calling or ranting without a point, start your own blog, and feel free to trackback to mine. I may return fire, I may not. Depends on if I feel you’re worth the time. So if your going to troll, be the best troll you can be. If not, I’ll just ignore you, block you, or anything else that puts a smile on my face at the time.

Trackbacks that do not include a link back to my blog will be deleted without any questions asked or notification.

Bottom line: My Blog, My Domain, My Rules. Deal with it.

My internet persona is that of a complete asshole. I like it that way, and I’m not about to change it. Those of you who know me in real life know just how different I am in real life than I am on the Internet.

Addendum: Death threats get your IP blocked, and will get your reported to your ISP, and depending on if I take you serious or not, to the local and Federal authorities.

Futher Update: Posts are open for comment for 30 days. After thirty days, the post will automatically close comments. This only applies to comments, trackbacks are still allowed. (hat tip to James McKay for a kick ass plugin)
